Robert Hicks

Robert is the Founder and Managing Partner of Capstar Capital, a private investment firm focused on lower middle-market companies, and also a Founder and Managing Partner of Fremantle Capital. Robert’s investment and board experience currently include Stonecreek Dental Care, Atmosphere TV, and Fox Commercial Services, and historically includes Kendra Scott Design, Elite Dental Partners, DMX, Inc., Harden Healthcare, CPO Commerce, and Greenstream International. Prior to founding Capstar Capital, Robert spent 11 years as a Partner and President of Capstar Partners, co-founded and ran the finance department for CPO Commerce, was Director of Business Development for CLICK Radio, and worked as an investment banker in the Media & Telecom Group of Credit Suisse in New York.
Robert received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Mathematics and Economics. Robert is a chartered financial analyst and a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO).
