David Solomon

David is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Hildred Capital Management, a healthcare-focused private equity firm in New York. He previously co-founded Hildred Capital Partners, a family investment firm, and has served as Operating Partner since 2014, responsible for overseeing all of Hildred’s operations and investment activities. David currently serves on the board for DermCare, a dermatology practice management company, Quantum-Si, an innovative life sciences company, SportsMed, a physical therapy practice management company, and Columbia Care (CCHW.NE), a leading public U.S. medical marijuana business. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Crown Laboratories, premier dermatology, aesthetic, and skincare product business. Before founding Hildred, David spent 14 years at Forest Laboratories, ultimately as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategic Planning.
David graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology from Yale College and received his J.D. from Yale Law School.
