Ed is the co-Founder and Managing Partner of LionBird, a venture capital and growth equity investment firm. Ed previously had a career at Abbott Laboratories spanning 26 years, where he most recently served as the Executive Vice President of Diagnostic Products, overseeing over $4 billion in revenues and 13,000 employees. Served on the Board of Directors of Cook County Health and Hospitals System (2012-2013) and is a current Director of NeuMoDx, Telesofia, VG Bio, and Ovuline.
Ed holds undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from Indiana University.
