Cameron Smith

Cameron is the CEO and Co-Founder of Bennett Day School, a PreK to 12th Grade independent day school in downtown Chicago dedicated to advancing creativity and innovation in education. Cameron served on the Board of the Namaste Charter School, is a licensed attorney in Illinois, a member of the Education Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association, and member of the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance. Previously, Cameron was an investment professional at private equity firm CHS Capital LLC in Chicago where he focused on investing in education and healthcare services companies. Cameron has served on a number of fast growing private equity backed company boards, including Heartland Dental Care, Suture Express, Royall & Company, and New York Kids Club.
Cameron holds a B.S. degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as well as J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Northwestern University.
